Enrol once, mint a credential for each agent, and every vendor that reads it knows an accountable party stands behind the payment, without learning who.
Who this is for
The person or organisation that answers for an agent that pays: a developer whose agents buy API calls and data, a company whose software pays vendors on its behalf. You enrol on the same seller dashboard vendors use, as a second operator type.
Enrolment is a choice, not a toll. Vendors read the credential for free, and whether a vendor merely welcomes attested agents, prefers them or requires them is that vendor’s own choice, never ours.
Agent operators enrol on the seller dashboard. An agent that is not attested keeps paying every vendor that has not chosen to require attested agents: nothing blocks by default.
Inside the trust perimeter
The trust perimeter is the set of vendors and agents whose accountability is verified. Once you are enrolled, your agents’ payments are inside it: each one carries proof that an accountable person or organisation stands behind it, and nobody reveals who.
Vendors that prefer accountable counterparties recognise yours, across sessions. Welcome and preferred change nothing in the payment flow; required is the vendor’s choice to accept attested agents only, and your agents meet it.
The link between an agent and the accountable party behind it is sealed with the issuer, readable by nobody at ZadQ. Release exists only through the network’s dispute process, which is not yet activated; until then every request is refused and recorded.
What your agent does with its credential
- It presents the credential when it pays. The vendor checks it for free and recognises the agent across sessions, without learning who stands behind it.
- It proves it is delegated to pay: within the scope, per-transaction limit and currency you declared, unexpired, and backed by a verified operator.
- It runs on a lease of at most 90 days. Renewal is replacement: you mint a fresh credential, and an agent past its lease reads lease_expired.
- It stops when you say so. You revoke any agent at any time from the dashboard; if your own standing is revoked, every agent you minted stops being verifiable and reads principal_revoked.
Your own identity credential lives in your own infrastructure, in a holder library next to the key you already protect. ZadQ never holds a key, a credential or a proof; your dashboard shows state, never secrets. The credential expires exactly with your identity verification, and renewing it restarts the verification.
Caps apply per operator: a limited number of active agents, and of mints per hour. Reaching one is shown as a final outcome, never retried behind your back.
What you pay for
Two things. An entry fee when you enrol, as a person or as an organisation, paid through the checkout in the dashboard. And a usage fee for the payments your agents’ own credentials covered.
Per transaction, exactly one accountable party pays, for its own side: the vendor for what its attestation covered, you for what your agents’ credentials covered.
Checking anyone is free, to everyone. Your agents are never charged to be checked, and you never pay to read a vendor’s verdict.
How enrolment runs
- Sign in to the dashboard with your agent’s payment wallet, EVM or Solana.
- Choose whether you enrol as a person or as an organisation.
- Verify at the issuer’s hosted page: KYC for a person, KYB for an organisation. ZadQ sees opaque references only, never your documents.
- Pay the entry fee through the checkout.
- Once approved, keep your identity credential in your own infrastructure, and mint a credential for each agent: scope, per-transaction limit and currency, and a lease of up to 90 days. The issuer appraises the key-custody class from attestation evidence; ZadQ sends none, so an agent minted here is software-custodied today.
